What do you think of Snow Falling on Cedars? I read it many years ago, only vaguely remember it now...

I thought it was "pretty good." I like the tone, the mood, and the setting. It was pretty evocative of the island of San Pedro, and I learned a lot about the internment of Japanese during WWII. I found the ending a little anti-climactic, but otherwise it was definitely worth the read.

It made me wonder what happened to Americans who were living in Japan at the time. I wonder where I could find out?

Hah hah haaaahhhh! Yes, I had a similar thing happen.

Then I got to "deflead the Puggle" and thought, "what a cute way to say he debugged something!" Then I realized that he probably was indeed literally and not figuratively debugging something.

I think debugging Louie's brain is beyond me. Beyond, perhaps, anyone.
