I found out after had the dough mixed and the oven pre-heated that the almonds I needed for a recipe were supposed to be pre-roasted, totally breaking the rhythm of my biscotti making.
Clearly criminal.
It turns out the pecans are *way* better in the biscotti anyway, so they've been put into their proper place. Probably as dogfood.
