DONE!!!
I just finished zip-tying my 60 gallon tub, the largest piece of my Burning Man set. I've already got my bike packed, so everything that *has* to be on the truck tomorrow by 8:30 PM is ready to be loaded into my car. Somehow. Fucker must weigh at least 75 lbs. Probably tie the bike box to the top of my car. It *might* fit inside. It did when it was empty, but it was more flexible then.
That leaves the rest of tomorrow and *if necessary* tomorrow night to finish what I can on the Pedon Exploratory Probe. *THAT* box will contain at least two, if not three, lead-acid batteries.
This is the most on-schedule I've ever been for Burning Man, which is vaguely distrubing.
I actually felt excitement briefly yesterday. It must be close!

I finished sufficient clothing without attaching lights (OK, there are 2 seams to sew, but I can't pin them alone and my extra set of hands was asleep at that point. They're not neccesary, really, I could safety pin them.). Tonight I work on bonus clothing and lights (and if I have to, I'll check my soldering iron and a small hand-stiching kit). All of the hard gear is gathered and remains merely to be divvied and my half packed (tonight). Tomorrow night, I leave. Hell, I even have enough nonperishable food for 3 people for seven days. The tuna will start to get really old, but ya won't die.
