I had occasion to observe this evening that, by
stealing a sock-poi, a dog can steal both a sock *and*
a ball at the same time.

Oh my god. I read the headline and thought one of your dogs had been stolen. These flu drugs are good.

My dog used to love playing with an old tennis ball tied up in a gym sock. She'd fling it around everywhere; I'm sure she felt quite mighty for the little ten-pounder she was. Of course we'd try to replace the thing every so often once it got really nasty. That's when she would hide it from us. Silly humans don't realize that decrepit things taste better, you know.
