I took an old pair of prescription glasses and mounted the lenses inside a nice pair of Hilfiger sunglasses I scored at Thrift Town for $1.99. The result? The second pair of prescription sunglasses I've ever had at approximately 1/2 % the cost.
In other news, I completed the grouting (WAY easier than mortaring!) the tiles today, and am somewhat shocked at how good they look. The lighter colored grout completely hides the darker mortar underneath. I will post pictures of the whole project when it's done. Next I'm supposed to mist the grout with clean water for three days before applying the polyseal.
