Big Audio Dynamite
Jul. 3rd, 2006 01:59 amMy recent visit to Kerrville has had me working on music again. I've been practicing my guitar and re-assembling my home studio into something that's hopefully vaguely portable. One thing I've wanted to do for a while is get a setup to do out-in-public audio sampling to record random samples from around town to incorporate into my music. It turns out I already owned everything I needed. I tried combining my Sharp Minidisc recorder, my Shure SM-58, and my studio headphones, and I was live nearly instantly. I recorded a few sounds around the house, but am looking forward to combined audio-photography outings in which interaction with other human beings is nearly impossible.
