When I was a high school senior and National Merit Scholar in 2001, I was invited to attend honors invitationals at A&M and UT. I was totally head over heels for a girl names Sara (who I ironically only hooked up with later long after we were different people.) She and I climbed onto the big fountain at UT and carved messages into the fountain. I was at UT doing a photo shoot recently and decided to check on my handiwork. And it's still there!
