I'm still employed...

...I just don't know if it will last. After having survived 8 layoffs at Motorola/Freescale, I no longer try to predict whether or not I, personally, will be canned. I've seen people both much less and much more valuable to the company get slashed, and after the first two or three layoffs, it's all just head-tripping by management anyway. All the lazy people are already gone. I simply know that leveraged buyouts often mean cost-cutting shortly thereafter.

My "A Cheerful message is on it's way to you" fortune has worked as a ward so far.
