These days it seems like everything from pet food to electronics is being manufactured in China. The often-shoddy goods have led me to believe that the quality of manufacturing worldwide is being degraded. A perfect example is my electric scooter, who's myriad of problems can all be traced back to cheap Chinese manufacturing and producer inexperience in dealing with the chaotic Chinese market. So, when my new Powerbook battery arrived today, it was a big relief to see it had been made *somewhere* *else*.
I'm not sure where Chian is, but I'm sure glad it's not China!
