Bike as Burn Gateway

To help remedy my almost total lack of excercise since returning from Burning Man and to help mobilize myself about the 'hood in a less foreign-oil dependent way, I re-assembled my playa-ee bicycle tonight and just took it for a test drive. The only time I've actually ridden a bike over the past two years has been at Burning Man (in fact, the only reason I've even owned one,) so to ride through the neighborhood at night with the scent of alkalai dust in my nostrils was like a ghost-ride through a boring version of Black Rock City. All I need now are some dark glasses and an MP3 players with a random re-mix of four different psy-trance songs and muted voices for the illusion to be complete.
