I'm intending on doing a full report after the burn. Due to time constraints, I had to use medium-grade duct tape for most of the assembly, so I'm concerned about how it will hold up in the heat. The fanfold method I used is very easy to document and reproduce, but I want to see how it performs before I post the instructions. It's definitely a trade-off between convenience and rigidity. The ability to fanfold in both directions requires a certain degree of floppiness. I'm hoping the tension ring will help, and can shore things up with additional rope if need be.
