I had a spectacular time at Alchemy and with dj_warhammer in Savannah, Georgia. I took *way* too many pictures, the best of which I will post soon. More later when I'm less travelfied. Please hold the economy in check until I can figure out what the hell to do do about it.

Overall I know that I gave the impression that I was too self-helpy. I didn't feel ready, and they could tell. Next year, I will *be* ready, and also have quite a few more rangering hours under my belt. I've also been through the mentoring process before, so I have a better idea what to expect. I much more surprised they rejected you, but I wasn't around for your shifts. :) I took notes about mine. In the unlikely event they reject me a second time, I'll probably be willing to let it go and do something else.

I *did* get the impression that they had a *lot* of trainees in 2007, so part of the problem may have simply been too much supply and not enough demand.
