The Herd is Coming

I'm schlepping my visiting herd of Japanese down to Elysium tonight for 80's night. Echo needs a break. I'm the Designated Driver, and hopefully everyone will have fun. They all smoke like chimneys, too, so they will probably appreciate a place to smoke indoors.

They can't smoke indoors at Elysium either. But y'all probably already figured that one out by now. ;)

You still see a few folks doing it in the clubs, but the clubs pretty heavily discourage it these days, what with the no smoking regs and all. eh.

80s night sounds fun! Hope it was enjoyable for your visitors too!

...people continue to routinely smoke at Elysium. I'm sitting on the floor and my eyes are burning. If there was a time when they enforced it, it' over. :)

I know that some folks still do it, but it is considerably less than pre-ban. I don't know if it's an enforcement thing or what. I don't get out to the clubs often, but when I do, the comparative lack of smoke is always something of a surprise. I guess it's all relative. If you're sensitive to it, then any amount is too much. As a former 2-pack-a-day'er, I notice it from the other side of the coin. heheheh
