Paid Green Activist Training Straight Out of College

While job-hunting, I discovered Green Corps, an environmental activism organization that will pay college graduates to receive training in political activism and community organizing. It allows students to have maximum impact straight out of school working for causes they believe in. They have benefits and job placement assistance in the movement upon completion. This looks like an excellent opportunity for Green-focused world-changers! The main reason I'm turning it down is because it requires me to re-locate, which I'm not willing to do.

Wow, lots of things. Great people, workable-but-not-perfect weather, a house I've lived in for 4 years, and a general desire to put down roots and determine my own destiny.
