So I went outside to take a look at how out of registration the Metro was, and I had to do a double-take, because *neither* of the stickers is legal, *despite* the fact that I just got the car fucking inspected THREE DAYS AGO! I've been driving around in the meantime feeling like I was at least *half* legal, often in the fucking daytime, and now I found out the sticker on my car says 2000!

I am *pissed*! I was planning on using this car for a trip to San Antonio tomorrow with spottedvasa, but if I can't get it fixed before we leave, we're gonna have to take the CR-V instead, which will cost *twice* as much in gas.

I have the paperwork and the little sticker that says I was inspected, so I *should* be able to get it fixed fairly quickly, but who *knows* what kind of run-around they'll give me, *especially* because the paperwork says "Geo Tracker" instead of "Geo Metro."

Unbelievable!

i've been pulled over a few times for not having a current registration and the only penalty was a $10 court fee so i don't think you need to worry too much about that one. does your inspection paperwork have your license plate # on it?

The trip was awesome, but we did in in the CR-V, only to discover that the sticker on the Metro was correct.

There is only *one* digit in the year, so 2010 is the same as 2000. :)
