That depends on how recent you think recent is. If I remember correctly, the last time was a week ago. I think! That's forever as far as I'm concerned.
And it took all the way until THURSDAY for my leg to start feeling baseline again. Now it's feeling pretty good, compared to how it was a few weeks ago. I was so tempted to go to Wheatsville with Marty. But I resisted!!! Because obviously resistance is necessary. This is my determined face.
Are you taking Glucosamine/MSM or something similar? I was having some (minor but steadily increasing) knee problems recently, and stopping the Full Lotus Position for meditation plus G/MSM eventually healed it. I was taking about 8 pills a day at the height of the incident.
I actually asked the doc about MSM, but he seemed to be comme ci comma ca about it so I stopped thinking about it. Now I'm tempted to try it because hell, why not? Who knows? (And of course I'd never know if it was what was working, since obviously other things are working right now. But it's tempting to add to my arsenal, you know?)
How late in the week can I give you my answer and still be able to go if it looks like I could?
I'm gonna buy a ticket. If I can't go, I can either give it to someone else or it's a donation to support the organization, which looks hella awesome. I'm cool with that. Hey, it's Christmas, right? ;}
I hope I can live up to it without endangering you. S. delivered a payload of some kind of bug here yesterday. I may be ok, but I may also be incubating. :)
By Friday I'll likely know for sure, and either be in the clear, or past the contagious stage.
HA! No worries. Keep me updated. If you get sick I'll steer clear. If you don't and you figure that means you're not going to with a reasonable level of certainty, AND as long as my knee continues to feel better, then awesome. (And I guess if my knee doesn't feel okay, any alternate date you find is welcome to my ticket. Har.) :P
