So do you mind if I ask why you threw your yearbook away? I hated high school (& Jr. high too) but I haven't felt compelled to throw away my yearbooks. After all, they come in handy when I want to prove that I went to school with Renee O'Connor. (In the TV series Xena, Warrior Princess, she was the blond sidekick, Gabrielle.)So I am curious about what prompted you to expell your yearbooks from your life.
High school was an almost totally worthless experience for me. I had one good teacher, and some positive experiences in choir, but if I had kids I'd arrange for them to skip high school and take the GRE instead. I didn't have that many friends, didn't know that many people, and the quality of the journalism in the book is painfully bad. It just doesn't justify the space it takes up, which is quite a bit.
I have another year somewhere that I'll get to later.
That's not always true, but the general trend probably has to do with fertility. And possibly the fact that male attractiveness seems simpler than female attractiveness.

Unfair.
