Mortality intrudes.

My Mom's mother, my last remaining living grandparent, has just be transferred to hospice in Pittsburgh. I will be leaving town tomorrow morning, and am currently scheduled to return on the 9th of October.

She's actually doing a lot better today. Still all downhill from here, but at least she's cognoscente and I got to see her alive again.
