The word "meatloaf" already has a certain magic about it. But when it's belched directly into the face of a hungry dog after actually having *eaten* meatloaf, it's elevated comfortably into the sublime.

My brother had a friend who used to belch in his puppy's face...eventually the puppy would obediently trot over to his person and burp in HIS face when he was done eating puppy chow.

They're smart little critters. (however, as far as I know, puppy never figured out how to fart on his person's head...)
