Yesterday I:

Went to the Sunset Valley Farmer's Market.

Attended a Goodwill auction where I failed to acquire a Technics P30 digital piano and a Selmer Bundy II alto saxophone.

Attended the Edible Landscapes presentation by Fritz Haeg. I intend to volunteer in March to help them build the Edible Landscape in Austin.

Attended [livejournal.com profile] skygoesgrey's birthday party for much too short a time, mainly because I sort of accidentally ended up with tickets to:

De/Vision concert at Elysium.

...all of which was fantastic. However, starting at the party, and continuing into the De/Vision concert, I got a really nasty attack of what I'm assuming is cedar fever. I had all the normal fever symptoms, and had a hard time falling asleep even with a dosage of diphenhydramine. I'm slightly better today, but still fever-ey and cranky. Apologies to party goers who were hoping to spend more time with me.

Your icon accomplishes what I assume it was made to do: give me the willies.

Which one?

The little bunny? Or did I use a different one?

Mmmm, edible landscapes ... that looks hella fun.

Accidentally ending up with tickets is how I got to see Loreena McKennitt a few months ago.

Did De/Vision played more of their older stuff or their newer stuff at this concert?

I hope that you feel better! *hugs*

Thanks!

I have no idea what percentage of their music was new, since I don't really know the band very well. I was also forced to wear shitty foam earplugs, because I forgot my ear filters, and was therefore largely unable to actually make out the words to any of the songs.

Not to worry.

You looked fabulous, it was good to see you, if ever so briefly, and I wrote all sorts of hellacious gossip about you in the party slam book ;)

*hugs*

Thanks!

Image what I look like in a suit that fits!

You hair was epic.

Shit. Now I missed out on the rest of the book contents. Maybe I'll have to go visit again to see what all got written about everyone.

Epic hair? Like Wayne Static's epic hair? If I ever get the chance to grow facial hair, that's the way that I would grow it out.

I had not previously been exposed to this Don King wanna-be, but now that I've seen the pictures, I see what you mean.

Seems to have free Clavinova manuals. You would just need to find out your model number, which is probably written on it somewhere.

Wild. Thanks for looking. If I borrow it and take it apart to get it here, maybe we can find out more.

Those degrees of separation must also occur along certain financial lines. :)

Haven't kept up with Torism recently. I was offered a ticket to a concert of hers not too long ago, but realized a true Toriphile would derive more pleasure from it than me, so I decided not to go.
