Final Check, Part 1
Jan. 10th, 2009 01:09 amI got my final official paycheck today, which also included my basic severance and my vacation. The Last Money Ever from Mother Company (at which I am no longer an employee as of 6 PM today) will be coming in about two weeks as a result of the final I Won't Sue You form I sent off today. By the time it's over I should have enough for 6-12 months of frugal living in the bank, which should be enough both to get many of my long-term business plans moving as well as get another shorter-term pay-the-bills job.
I'm considering waitstaff. :)
I think I've found a name for the co-op, though I'm not going to mention it here to maintain my firewall between my private and personal lives. In the next few weeks, I will be creating a separate site specifically for the co-op, and at that point I'll be filtering all posts about it, if I mention it on LJ at all. It *will* be very public, and anyone who's interested in participating in the adventure of suburban permaculture can check out what's going on over there.
