So I had a dream lying on my bed today that I had signed up for some kind of Starship-Troopers style galactic military thing. At the beginning of the dream, I knew it was just some kind of expensive fantasy thing I'd signed up for, but I seemed to forget that later on. We were in some kind of enormous mustering hall, in uniform, listening to a speech, when there was an alert and we all had to suit up and go on station. I remember one amusing conversation with a superior as I got lost on the way to suit up. Actually putting on the armor required getting out some kind of powdered latex condom thing and jumping into this larger, claustrophobic hole where it was hard to breathe. ( Read more... )
