Day 2, the Leaving Las Vegas Report

My only major observation today is that I'm really looking forward to a time in my life when Leaving Las Vegas isn't the love story I feel the most resonance with.

There are two ways to accomplish this. Either I can either improve the general quality of my relationships, or Hollywood can actually make some decent romance movies.

I guess I'd better get started -- I'm sure as hell not going to wait on Hollywood.

Watch more comedies. Cultivate those friends who tell you how wonderful you are. Refuse to hide under the bed or watch any more tragic love stories.. really. It works. Trust me, I know.

I know it does. After this week is over I'll consider non-miserable activities, and I already limit the amount of self-indulgence I do because I know from experience how self-reinforcing depression can be.

I just got my new, completely adorable puppy, so that's a step in the right direction. No one else I ever know will be as consistant in communicating how much they like me. :)
