I noticed that I had gotten a few comments on my previous chicken post without getting any e-mail notifications. I also heard that LJ got hit by a denial of service attack recently. At any rate, I checked my settings, and my e-mail notification had somehow been de-activated. I turned it back on, but you might want to check yours.

Where would I find out whether it's on or off? It's been so long since I did it I can't remember.

It's under Account somewhere, I think there is a Notifications section with checkmarks for things like e-mail, chat, etc. The ones I was wondering about actually came through later (definitely out of order) but my e-mail checkbox was *definitely* off when I looked.
