Cupping!

I just got done trying cupping for the first time with spottedvasa and it worked! We had one initial misfire due to too big a wad of cotton, but after that everything went fine. I had seen several live demos of the technique before, and tried it on myself first with the gear I had. I'd like to get some slightly thicker cups, and I saw a nice set at White Crane today that might be worth the investment.

But only if people wanted to try it...

I've only done it once so far, so I'm no expert, but materials are cheap and readily available. Even if you wanted "real" cupping cups, instead of, say, votive holders or shot glasses, you can get them at White Crane (now right behind Central Market South) for like $3-5 each. I'm thinking about buying one or two just to see if they feel different. Other than than all you need is a lighter, cotton, leather, and some alcohol. Some people evidently don't even use the alcohol-soaked cotton, they just heat up the air inside the cup. Some coconut oil to put on the skin to make sliding easier seems to help, too.
