Depends on the mood and setting. I use music a lot more in a kinky setting than otherwise, and I have several playlists of industrial, harder rock, dirty songs, and mindfucks for all that.
In more intimate settings, I honestly prefer to focus on the sounds of my partner and myself, but I've been known to play a mutually loved CD of excellent music: anything from trip hop to jam rock, it just has to be intricate and not too distracting from the mood. Trip hop is probably the most well-rounded for this purpose; I highly recommend Esthero.
