I just planted a Dorsett Golden Apple tree in my front yard.

Yesterday I completely re-built my wheelbarrow by replacing the handles and fixing the tire.

I've gotten about 1/3 way through my rock herb spiral twice now.

I've gotten up at 7:30 AM on at least one if not two days every weekend for four weeks. This is only marginally less surprising than not finding Jesus the next day.

Tomorrow we're covering Design, where we'll integrate all the things we've learned into a plan for our property.

Next week I'll be planting my pecan and my fig tree, my four grapevines, and finishing my herb spiral. I might even put some herbs into it.

Did you know..?

...that Austin only gets 2 inches less rain per year than Seattle? I was surprised, too. In Austin we get it all at twice, once in the spring and once in the fall. If you actually want to have it available the rest of the time, it has to be stored somewhere.

Austin is also at the same latitude (30') as Cairo, and it's longitude (97') is only 3' east of the Great American Desert.
