Permaculturing
Feb. 9th, 2007 04:30 pmI just planted a Dorsett Golden Apple tree in my front yard.
Yesterday I completely re-built my wheelbarrow by replacing the handles and fixing the tire.
I've gotten about 1/3 way through my rock herb spiral twice now.
I've gotten up at 7:30 AM on at least one if not two days every weekend for four weeks. This is only marginally less surprising than not finding Jesus the next day.
Tomorrow we're covering Design, where we'll integrate all the things we've learned into a plan for our property.
Next week I'll be planting my pecan and my fig tree, my four grapevines, and finishing my herb spiral. I might even put some herbs into it.

The link has chart for course curriculum. It's two days the first weekend, and one day each weekend after that, a total of I think 10 days. I'm about half way through. And tomorrow is Building and Energy, not Design, which is later in the course.
Did you know..?
