I've been running out of space on my Powerbook for months, so I finally broke down and replaced the 80GB Hitachi with a new 250 GB Western Digital. It took about four hours to copy over the system using an intermediary firewire drive. I can now restore a huge section of my iPhoto library I was forced to move elsewhere due to space constraints. The new drive sounds slightly different, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
