I've been Drupaltized!
Jan. 29th, 2009 03:01 amAfter several days of tweakage, I've finally managed to get Drupal 6 installed on the RadioMac. What is Drupal, you ask? It's a very powerful website system, and my ticket to renewed relevance on the Web. I was actually a webmaster for my department back when I co-oped in college, but "web high tech" in those days consisted of hand-edited static HTML and CGI scripts for live content.
It would seem, in the past ten years, that things have *changed*.
I'm operating on very incomplete information, but Drupal seems to have the best balance of "I want to have websites done tomorrow" and "I want to do anything with my website without having to learn PHP" and *even* "I want to customize with PHP manually" that I've seen. It's also open-source, well supported, and come pre-installed on many hosting services.
